VinFast gagal capai sasaran jual 40,000 EV tahun 2023
Sepanjang tahun 2023, Vinfast telah berjaya menjual sebanyak hampir 35,000 unit kenderaan elektrik (EV).
Rekod baharu turut dicatatkan sepanjang suku keempat (Q4) 2023 di mana Vinfast berjaya menjual sebanyak 13,512 unit.
Namun, disebalik angka yang impresif (34,855 unit) berbanding pencapaian terdahulu, jumlah jualan tahunan masih tidak mencapai sasaran 40,000 unit yang telah ditetapkan.
Syarikat pengeluar dari Vietnam ini mendakwa angka tersebut adalah disebabkan oleh kadar penerimaan terhadap EV yang perlahan di sesetengah rantau, diikuti persaingan yang sengit.
Laporan Reuters menyebut, majoriti besar jualan Vinfast datangnya daripada pasaran Vietnam, di mana 60 peratus pengedaran pada suku kedua dan ketiga disumbangkan oleh pengendali teksi Green SM, dan syarikat pajakan kenderaan yang dimiliki oleh CEO VinFast.
Menurut timbalan CEO jualan dan pemasaran Vinfast, Tran Mai Hoa berkata, “kami melihat peningkatan signifikan pengedaran kenderaan pada suku keempat 2023 berbanding suku ketiga yang lepas.”
“Namun begitu, kadar penerimaan EV yang perlahan di sesetengah rantau, serta saingan sengit menyebabkan jumlah pengedaran yang lebih kecil berbanding apa yang kami jangkakan.
VinFast kini sedang bersedia untuk mendirikan fasiliti pengeluaran dan pemasangan bateri di India, selain meneroka pasaran baharu di Timur Tengah, Amerika Latin, dan Asia termasuklah Indonesia.
