POLIS telah mengesahkan 10 orang maut dalam nahas jet peribadi di Bandar Elmina, Shah Alam, lapor MalayMail. Difahamkan, jumlah ini membabitkan lapan penumpang dalam pesawat itu dan dua lagi pengguna jalan raya.

Terdahulu, Pihak Berkuasa Penerbangan Awam Malaysia (CAAM) mengeluarkan satu kenyataan mengesahkan bahawa sebuah pesawat jenis Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) dengan nombor pendaftaran N28JV telah terhempas di Elmina, Shah Alam pada Khamis, 17 Ogos 2023.

Menurut Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif CAAM, Kapten Norazman Mahmud, pesawat yang dioperasikan oleh Jetvalet Sdn. Bhd. itu berlepas dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Langkawi pada pukul 2.08 petang menuju ke Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah.

Menurut beliau lagi, hubungan pertama yang dibuat oleh pesawat dengan Menara Kawalan Trafik Udara Subang adalah pada pukul 2:47 petang dan pelepasan pendaratan diberi pada pukul 2:48 petang.

“Pada pukul 2:51 petang, Menara Kawalan Trafik Udara Subang memerhatikan asap yang berpunca daripada lokasi nahas tetapi tiada panggilan mayday yang dibuat oleh pesawat itu. Pusat Koordinasi Menyelamat Aeronautik Kuala Lumpur (KL ARCC) telah diaktifkan untuk menyelaraskan misi mencari dan menyelamat,” katanya.

Seramai enam penumpang dan dua kru penerbangan berada di dalam pesawat berkenaan dan keadaan mereka masih belum disahkan pada masa ini.

Siasatan keselamatan akan dijalankan oleh Biro Siasatan Kemalangan Udara di bawah Kementerian Pengangkutan Malaysia mengikut Bahagian XXVI Peraturan-Peraturan Penerbangan Awam 2016.
