Perodua, Public Bank jalin kerjasama tawar pembiayaan kepada pengedar
Public Bank Berhad dan Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd telah menandatangani Memorandum Kerjasama (MoC) bagi menyediakan kemudahan pembiayaan kepada pengedar sah Perodua.
Kerjasama dengan Perodua ini akan membolehkan Public Bank mengantaramuka dan memudahkan digitalisasi melalui penghantaran permohonan pembiayaan sewa beli secara dalam talian kepada pihak bank, termasuk memuat naik dokumen permohonan asas dan menyemak status permohonan.
“Perodua juga merupakan pengeluar Kenderaan Cekap Tenaga (EEV) yang pertama di Malaysia. Di pihak kami, menyokong pertumbuhan industri EEV merupakan tunggak penting bagi agenda Bank dalam menangani perubahan iklim, yang mana Public Bank memperuntukkan lebih RM30 bilion untuk pembiayaan EEV tempatan pada akhir tahun 2022.
Sebagai sebahagian daripada komitmen berterusan kami untuk menyokong pertumbuhan industri EEV, Public Bank menaikkan sasaran pembiayaan EEV daripada RM25 bilion kepada RM33 bilion menjelang tahun 2025,” kata Pengarah Urusan dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Public Bank, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Tay Ah Lek.
Tambah beliau lagi, “Public Bank dan Perodua mempunyai potensi untuk bersinergi dengan baik dan terus bekerjasama, bukan sahaja dalam mengembangkan perniagaan masing-masing tetapi juga untuk menyumbang secara positif kepada inisiatif Alam Sekitar, Sosial dan Tadbir Urus (ESG) demi kesejahteraan masyarakat dan dunia.”
Sementara itu, Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perodua, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad berkata, urus janji tiga penjuru ini memenuhi keperluan aktiviti semasa dan masa hadapan Perodua.
“Saya harap kerjasama ini akan membawa kedua-dua organisasi ke tahap yang lebih tinggi,” ujar beliau.
