YDP Agong hadiri majlis podium F1 Monaco
KDYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah telah berkenan menghadiri majlis podium F1 Monaco Grand Prix (GP), di Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
Seri Paduka Baginda berkenan berada di podium bersama tetamu kehormat untuk upacara penyampaian hadiah bagi pemenang-pemenang perlumbaan itu.
Max Verstappen dari Red Bull Racing muncul juara selepas mengalahkan Fernando Alonso dari Aston Martin dalam perlumbaan di litar ikonik itu.
Tempat ketiga pula diduduki oleh Esteban Ocon dari Alpine. Ini menjadikan kutipan mata kejuaraan bagi Verstappen, Alonso dan Ocon masing-masing adalah 25, 18, 15 mata.
Sementara itu, Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong kini dalam rangka lawatan khas lima hari ke Monaco untuk bertemu dengan His Serene Highness (HSH) Putera Monaco Putera Albert II.
Menurut siaran oleh Instagram Istana Negara, keberangkatan tiba Seri Paduka Baginda di Palace of Monaco pada jam 10:30 pagi waktu tempatan (4.30 petang waktu Malaysia) pada 27 Mei 2023 dan disambut oleh HSH Putera Albert II.
Selesai majlis di Palace of Monaco, Seri Paduka Baginda dan HSH Putera Albert II berkenan berangkat ke majlis pelancaran kenderaan pelbagai tugas, Rover Lunaire Flex, di ibu pejabat Venturi, syarikat pengeluar automotif yang berpengkalan di Monaco.
Seri Paduka Baginda turut berkenan menerima persembahan taklimat berkenaan Rover Lunaire Flex, yang dijangka mula beroperasi dan digunakan di bulan pada tahun 2026 dan buat pertama kalinya, dipamerkan kepada awam semalam.
Seri Paduka Baginda turut berkenan berangkat mengunjungi pasukan F1 Mercedes-PETRONAS di The Paddocks dan kemudiannya, Automobile Club Monaco pada sebelah petang waktu tempatan.
Di Automobile Club Monaco, Seri Paduka Baginda berkenan menerima anugerah Ahli Kehormat kelab tersebut.
