Letusan Gunung Ruang: MAS, AirAsia batal penerbangan laluan KL ke Sabah, Sarawak
Syarikat penerbangan tempatan mengumumkan pembatalan beberapa penerbangan domestik antara Kuala Lumpur dengan Malaysia Timur, susulan letusan gunung berapi Ruang, Indonesia, baru-baru ini.
Menurut laporan Astro Awani, Malaysia Airlines membatalkan 11 penerbangan antara Sabah dan Kuala Lumpur, diikuti lapan penerbangan melibatkan laluan Sarawak dan Kuala Lumpur.
“Antara penerbangan Sabah dan Kuala Lumpur adalah MH7420 (KUL-TWU), MH7421 (TWU-KUL), MH2612 (KUL-BKI), MH2621 (BKI-KUL), MH2710 (KUL-SDK), MH2711 (SDK-KUL), MH2610 (KUL-BKI), MH2611 (BKI-KUL), MH7404 (KUL-BKI), MH7405 (BKI-KUL) dan MH2613 (BKI-KUL).
“Manakala penerbangan Sarawak dan Kuala Lumpur yang dibatalkan adalah MH2520 (KUL-KCH); MH2513 (KCH-KUL); MH2542 (KUL-KCH); MH2543 (KCH-KUL); MH2574 (KUL-MYY); MH2575 (MYY-KUL); MH2742 (KUL-BTU) dan MH2473 (BTU-KUL).
Malaysia Airlines akan terus memantau secara dekat sebarang perkembangan terkini, di mana maklumat lanjut akan dikemaskini dan dimaklumkan secara terus kepada penumpang yang terjejas.
Sementara itu, syarikat AirAsia turut membatalkan 16 penerbangan melibatkan laluan yang sama.
Syarikat itu turut menawarkan perubahan tarikh perjalanan baharu dalam tempoh 30 hari dari tarikh berlepas asal tanpa kos tambahan, bergantung kepada ketersediaan tempat duduk.
