Perodua catat rekod tertinggi dengan jualan 358,102 unit pada 2024
Perodua mengumumkan bahawa ia mencatat jualan sebanyak 358,102 unit kenderaan bagi tahun 2024, iaitu rekod pendaftaran tertinggi dengan peningkatan sebanyak 8.4% mengatasi pencapaian pada tahun 2023 iaitu 330,325 unit kenderaan.
Bagi pengeluaran, syarikat itu mengeluarkan 368,100 kenderaan pada 2024, yang juga jumlah pengeluaran tertinggi sepanjang 30 tahun operasi jualannya, dengan peningkatan sebanyak 7.2 % daripada 343,400 yang dicatatkan pada 2023.
“Kami telah mengatasi kapasiti asal kami sebanyak 320,000 unit dan ia menunjukkan penyelarasan yang telah dilaksanakan secara dinamik dalam memenuhi objektif bersama. Pencapaian ini menunjukkan potensi sebenar kami dan akan menjadi penanda aras bagi industri untuk tempoh beberapa tahun akan datang,” kata Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perodua Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.
“Pencapaian ini juga membuktikan bahawa kualiti dan kuantiti boleh bergerak seiring jika semua pihak berkomunikasi dan berkoordinasi dengan baik. Untuk itu, kami ingin berterima kasih kepada kakitangan kami kerana telah membuktikan kita boleh melakukan lebih daripada apa yang dijangka.
“Berhubung prestasi industri, kami menjangka jumlah keseluruhan industri (TIV) akan melebihi 814,000 unit kenderaan bagi tahun 2024 dan daripada jumlah itu, 44% disumbangkan oleh Perodua. Berdasarkan peratusan itu, kami menjangka Perodua akan menjadi pemacu utama pertumbuhan tahun lalu,” katanya.
Bagi asas suku ke suku tahun, pendaftaran kenderaan Perodua adalah sebanyak 97,741 unit antara Oktober ke Disember 2024, peningkatan sebanyak 0.7% daripada 97,098 unit yang dicatatkan pada suku yang sama tahun 2023.
Sementara itu, bagi bulan Disember 2024, Perodua mencatat jualan sebanyak 32,202 unit iaitu peningkatan sebanyak 3.2% berbanding 31,210 unit pada Disember 2023.
Bagi aspek selepas jualan, Perodua menyaksikan peningkatan sebanyak 9.7% untuk jumlah kereta yang diselenggara kepada 3.4 juta berbanding 3.1 juta pada 2023.
“Kami percaya tahun 2025 akan memberikan peluang dan cabaran baharu buat kami, termasuklah persaingan yang semakin meningkat daripada jenama automotif baharu dalam pasaran,” kata Dato’ Sri Zainal.
Tambah beliau, walaupun berhadapan dengan pelbagai cabaran, Perodua tetap bersedia untuk meneruskan peranannya untuk menerajui industri automotif.
“Kami ingin berterima kasih kepada pemegang saham, kerajaan, vendor, pengedar, rakan strategik dalam sektor kewangan dan paling utama, para pelanggan kami yang dihargai atas sokongan berterusan mereka,” kata Dato’ Sri Zainal.
“Kepada semua rakyat Malaysia, kami mengucapkan terima kasih di atas kepercayaan yang diberikan dan kami akan terus melakukan yang terbaik demi mengatasi jangkaan anda terhadap keupayaan kami,” katanya.
