Koenigsegg Jesko Attack pecah rekod pusingan terpantas di Litar Laguna Seca
Koenigsegg berjaya memecahkan rekod terbaharu pusingan terpantas di litar Laguna Seca dengan menggunakan jentera Jesko Attack.
Kereta hiper itu mengelilingi Laguna Seca Raceway dengan catatan masa 1:24.86, sekaligus memadamkan catatan pemegang rekod terdahulu, iaitu Czinger 21C (1:25.44).
Ia merupakan satu pencapaian yang cukup impresif memandangkan pemandu uji Koenigsegg Markus Lundh sebenarnya tidak pernah menjejakkan kaki ke litar terkenal tersebut sebelum ini.
Malah, ia juga merupakan kali pertama prestasi Jesko diuji di litar Laguna Seca.
Koenigsegg Jesko dikuasakan oleh nadi 5.0 liter bentangan V8 yang mampu menghasilkan kuasa setinggi 1,600 hp menggunakan bahan api E85.
Berbanding varian Absolute yang lebih mementingkan kelajuan tertinggi, varian Attack yang digunakan dalam catatan masa tersebut mempunyai pakej aerodinamik yang lebih agresif, diikuti dengan talaan suspensi khusus dan nisbah gear yang lebih pendek.
Sebagai perbandingan, beberapa kereta produksi berprestasi tinggi turut merekodkan catatan masa terpantas di litar tersebut, termasuklah McLaren 765LT (1:27.50), McLaren Senna (1:27.62) dan Porsche Taycan Turbo GT (1:27.87).
