UMW Toyota Motor jual 9,688 unit kenderaan pada Mac
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) menutup tirai Mac 2024 dengan jualan sebanyak 9,688 unit iaitu 9,471 unit bagi kenderaan jenama Toyota dan 217 unit bagi Lexus.
Dengan pencapaian positif ini, jualan tahunan (YTD) UMWT setakat ini telah mencecah 23,444 unit.
Dalam menuju ke arah mobiliti mampan, UMWT baru-baru ini menjalinkan kerjasama dengan Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) dengan menyerahkan sebuah sedan yang dikuasakan hidrogen iaitu Toyota Mirai.
Inisiatif ini adalah sebahagian daripada komitmen lebih meluas terhadap neutraliti karbon, sejajar dengan
Pelan Hala Tuju Teknologi dan Ekonomi Hidrogen (HETR).
Menurut UMWT, Perdana Menteri, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim berpeluang memandu uji Toyota Mirai tersebut bersama dengan Menteri MOSTI, Chang Lih Kang.
Presiden UMWT, Datuk Ravindran K. berkata pihaknya percaya dalam menawarkan pelbagai pilihan ke arah neutraliti karbon, di mana pihaknya menawarkan penyelesaian elektrifikasi berbeza termasuk tenaga alternatif yang lebih bersih.
“Peranan kami melangkaui pengilangan, kami melihat diri kami sebagai rakan dalam perjalanan Malaysia ke arah masa depan yang mampan dan mesra alam. Kami komited untuk terus memupuk dunia yang lebih mampan, hijau dan terhubung, sejajar dengan slogan ‘Move Your World’ kami,” tambah beliau.
Dalam sektor komersial, UMWT baru-baru ini melancarkan Toyota HiAce Panel Van 3.0L baharu yang hadir dengan pelbagai ciri menarik termasuk enjin turbodiesel yang menghasilkan 136 PS/300 Nm, serta ruang barangan sepanjang 2.9 meter.
Selain itu, UMWT juga telah membuka tempahan untuk Toyota HiAce Super Long Wheelbase (SLWB) yang menawarkan ruang yang lebih luas untuk penumpang dan kargo. Ia dikuasakan oleh enjin turbodiesel 2.7-liter yang mampu menjana kuasa sebanyak 177 PS dan 450 Nm.
Sempena sambutan Hari Raya, syarikat itu memperkenalkan promosi “Kegembiraan Aidilfitri Bersama Toyota” bagi bulan April 2024 yang menawarkan pembiayaan sehingga 100% untuk model terpilih. Penjimatan sehingga RM7,500 untuk Yaris turut ditawarkan.
