Brunei nafi terlibat dalam projek Trans Borneo Railway
Berbeza dengan apa yang dilaporkan sebelum ini, kerajaan Brunei Darussalam semalam (4 April) menafikan penglibatan negara itu dalam cadangan pembinaan projek Trans Borneo Railway.
Menurut laporan Astro Awani, dalam satu kenyataan rasmi yang dikeluarkan menerusi laman Facebook GOVBN menjelaskan kerajaan Brunei tidak pernah melantik mana-mana syarikat tempatan atau luar negeri untuk mengendalikan projek berkenaan.
Pihak Kementerian Pengangkutan dan Infokomunikasi Brunei turut memaklumkan tiada sebarang perbincangan rasmi diperingkat kerajaan berkenaan perkara tersebut.
Berdasarkan laporan Utusan Borneo beberapa hari lepas, sebuah syarikat swasta Brunergy Utama mengumumkan cadangan projek Trans Borneo Railway merentasi tiga negara, iaitu Malaysia, Brunei dan Indonesia.
Projek kereta api berkelajuan tinggi itu merangkumi laluan sepanjang 1,620 km, selain mampu mencapai kelajuan operasi 300-350 km/j.
