Mitsuoka Ryugi ini sebenarnya sebuah Toyota Corolla yang sedang menyamar
Sedan dan wagon dengan rupa paras seakan model Britain klasik ini sebenarnya merupakan sebuah model buatan Jepun.

Inilah dia Mitsuoka Ryugi 2024, di mana ia sebenarnya menggunakan asas daripada sedan dan wagon Toyota Corolla, namun bukanlah datang daripada model platform TNGA yang terkini.
Sebaliknya, Mitsuoka menggunakan model generasi lama Corolla E160 di mana model tersebut (sedan Corolla Axio dan wagon Corolla Fielder) sebenarnya masih lagi dijual secara rasmi oleh Toyota di Jepun, namun dihadkan penjualannya sebagai kenderaan armada sahaja.
Ia membawakan rekaan muka depan yang agak klasik dengan struktur jeriji besar, mengingatkan kita kepada model-model seperti Rover P5 atau Jaguar Mark II.
Keempat-empat sudut tayar pula menampilkan rekaan rim yang langsung tidak kena dengan tema klasik yang cuba dibawakan.
Sementara bahagian belakang pula menampilkan unit lampu menegak, diikuti dengan kemasan bampar berwarna krom.
Di Jepun, Mitsuoka Ryugi dibekalkan dengan enjin 1.5 liter NA atau tetapan hibrid, yang dipadankan dengan sistem pacuan roda depan atau pacuan semua roda (AWD), serta pilihan transmisi manual lima kelajuan atau CVT.
Tidak banyak perubahan dibawakan pada ruang kabin, di mana ia masih lagi sama dengan rekaan papan pemuka standard pada Toyota Corolla terdahulu.
Apa yang berubah hanyalah kehadiran logo Mitsuoka pada roda stereng serta pada tempat duduk.
Ciri keselamatan turut dipertingkatkan, di mana kesemua varian (kecuali model manual) dilengkapi dengan sokongan brek parkir, sementara model manual pula didatangkan standard dengan fungsi auto kelam dan paparan undur pada cermin pandang belakang.
Harga jualan Mitsuoka Ryugi bermula dari 3,074,500 yen hingga 4,134,900 yen. (RM96,507-RM129,792).
